Friday:
Riders arrive (I'll have some schedule of events flyers at the hotel desk... NO CHECKIN / REGISTRATION PACKETS this year!)
Suggested (optional) dinner up top at the hotel restaurant
Friday evening informal gathering at the pavilions - approximately 7:00 PM
Tire kicking/story telling/socializing/partaking of beverages/etc.
Saturday:
10:00 AM group ride (lineup 9:45) - destination THREE stops

Stop 1) Barbers Museum (70 miles). This will be a BRIEF stop for enough time to see a LITTLE of the museum.
Stop 2) lunch at Western Sizzlin in Pell City, for those that want to eat lunch as a group (and for those who didn't stay longer at Barbers on the museum tour).
Stop 3) Talladega Racetrack. I will not be staying long at this stop, just a brief stop to see the track and maybe take a few photos from the distance. Riders are on their own at both stops IF they want to stay LONGER. I'll stay a while at both stops, but if riders want to tour the museum, see the track museum, etc. they will be on their own for return. I can post both .gpx and Garmin proprietary .gdb files on the route to and from. It's 70 miles to Barbers and 70 miles back to the top of Cheaha (including stops at Talladega and Western Sizzlin for lunch).
7:00 PM - Evening activities at the pavilions. I'll provide some charcoal, grilling tools, and perhaps some paper products and a FEW soft drinks. YOU...bring your own meat/etc. to cook. You can cook it, or I'll help ya' flip burgers, etc. (or you can eat somewhere else and show up just to party?). There are two grills (NOTE: the store up top closes at 500 or 530, and usually only carries hot dogs and such, usually NO burgers. That store up top is VERY limited in supplies!)
We'll have some activities, like probably a DJ/some tunes, a 50/50, some limited prizes, perhaps some of the past "contests" that folks have come to love, etc.
