Boy what a great turn out! 21 riders 18 bikes join us for a wonderful day of riding.

It was kind of nice not having to meet so early for a change. We left a little late but that was ok. We had plenty of time to hang out and talk before we loaded up. It was good to see BigMac2, Ed and Darkwing again on one of our rides. Superman and Lawbreaker joined us as well. Haven't seen them since Big Bear last year. Mike brought his new friend Katie and Darkwing and Jimmy invited there friends to join us. It was great to meet all of them and I believe they enjoyed themselves today.

Weather was perfect and the roads were clear. Nice twisties going through the mountains over toward Palmdale. It did get a little gusty with the winds but nothing serious. After about an hour we stopped at the Devils Punchbowl for a nice break. They had some bike races going on so we had to watch out for the bicycles on the roads. Also the parking lot at the Punchbowl was packed. Luckily we were on motorcycles so we could park in small spaces.

From the Punchbowl  Randy lead us up the hill to Wrightwood. That road is one of my favorites. It was nice to get up were it was a bit cooler. The Mexico Lindo really took care of us. We all got to set together and the service very fast and the food was good.

After lunch Mike's friend Katie picked the 50/50 drawing for us. Carl won an oil filter, while Strawbobrob won a Valkyrie clock as well as Randy and Karen. Thanks to Scott for donating the clocks to us. BigLou was the big 50/50 cash winner. He said it was if first time winning the big money.

Great day everyone, thanks for coming out. Don't forget to make your plans for the upcoming Virginia City ride. I know it's a long one but it will be worth it.
