First of all I want to say how great it was to see Terry and Janice today. Terry has a stroke a few years back and I can't believe how well he is doing. I know he appreciated having  lunch with us and all the good wishes from us. He has such a great laugh and still knows how to have fun.

   22 bikes started out with us this morning with Phil and 2 of his friends meeting us at Hell's Kitchen. He got the time wrong and thought we has left from Tom's Farms when in fact we hadn't even arrived yet. 2 new riders meet up with us. Sergio Meiron and Mike McIntee. It was great to see them and hope to see them in the future. 4 riders broke off early for personal commitments but it was nice to have them with us even it it was for just a short time.

   Joe's Crab Shack took good care of us and the food was pretty good also. They have a nice view of the boats and Newport harbor. Greg R and Wayne helped with the 50/50 and wouldn't you know it I was the big winner. It was a nice $70.00 pot. Thank you Terry for picking my winning ticket. He really got a kick out of it.

   For those of you who didn't make this ride you missed another nice day and I hope to see you next month for the Ride to Death Valley. It will be a long one with some roads that I know I have never been on. I'm looking forward to it very much.
