Boy it was a beautiful day for a ride. 14 Bikes showed up for a ride in the Hills and Dales of North San Diego County. We got started on time and made our way through the hills of De Luz. Many avocado orchards and beautiful homes. We did have on rider have a little get off in some slippery water. Chris wasn't hurt and his bike is fine. It did give us a bit of a scare though. After winding around the hills for about a hour we went to Fallbrook and on to the coast at Oceanside Harbor. We hung out there for about an hour and stretched our legs. From there it was on to Phil's BBQ. We stayed on the Hwy 101 for a short ways before getting on the 5 for San Diego.

Phil's was very busy but it didn't take to long to order our food. They have fast service and we all got to eat pretty much all together for a change. I seems like no matter where we go someone always gets their food late. The food there is excellent and I don't think anyone left there hungry. Mark and Lynn won the 50/50 pot and Rob and Daryl won a nice clock.

I forgot to take some pictures but I'm sure someone will have some to share shortly.    

 Don't forget that the first annual Tech Day will be on December 13. Come on out and get your hands dirty and learn more about your bike. We plan on a BBQ and it will all be on the SoCal VRCC.
