Gustavia, St. Barts

After Virgin Gorda, St. Barth's is a major change. Again, we anchored and tendered into the harbor. We shared the port with one other ship, Azamera, which is exactly the same size because we were all part of the original Renaissance fleet.  Gustavia is like being in France to some extent and is extremely expensive. Two Diet Cokes cost 8 Euros or $10-11.  Along with the drink you get a portion of French attitude.  We did not explore the whole island, but have heard about the lovely resorts, etc.
If you like French food and French fashion, you would be in heaven.....but bring a full wallet or a good credit card.

Views of a fascinating Russian millionaire's custom yacht which has a garage with several smaller boats and according to some on the ship a number of armed guards.
