Early breakfast, gas and once again we are "ON THE ROAD AGAIN"

 

Left Solvang at 8:40am for a cool but nice drive up 101, then we turned off and continued on the 1.

 

What a beautiful scenic drive up the 1, a brief photo shoot and pit stop at Ragged Point, then back on the road.  Lunch was at Nepenthe and what a nice place.  We were late and had to wait for a few minutes for another table.  We soon had our lunch and once again we were on our way.

 

Arriving in Monterey we found Alma & Hans Boers and Carolyn & Ed Keefer waiting for us.  We stood outside and visited for some time then off to dinner.  Oh yes, we eat every 3-4 hours and sometimes sooner.

 

Our dinner was at Bahama Billy's, a very nice place where we enjoyed everyone's company.  The highlight of the evening was a Bananas Marley.  This was made with vanilla ice cream, RUM, RUM, RUM AND MORE RUM to enjoy. 

 

While at dinner Katrina stopped by.  She is with the Concorso Italiano group and asked if we were entering the Corvette Corral on Friday.  She gave us the information to pick up our tickets for the Corral. 

 

We then headed back to " Americas Best Value Inn" for a long deserved rest.
