Stove Pipe Wells to Las Vegas

Franz had allowed for most of the day to see the sights in Death Valley so we went to Zabriskie Point and Badwater and generally rode around and down to a more southern exit. Then we backtracked on our way to Pahrump and then Las Vegas. As luck would have it, the Harleys began to run very low on gas and we were in the middle of nowhere until we saw the mirage that is the Amargosa Opera House, Hotel and Cafe. Unfortunately, there is no Amargosa gas station. So 12 of the group went into the Cafe for something to drink and/or eat and Franz and Clemens went in the van to find some gas to top off the Harley tanks. After refueling ourselves and the bikes, we went on to Pahrump, where we actually filled up and then headed to Las Vegas.
